SUMMER INSTITUTE – READY TO LAUNCH!

The excitement is building, and the countdown has begun! This year’s Summer Institute will launch on Wednesday and Thursday, July 9th and 10th.
Our 2025 Institute theme, “Creating Schools That Are Out of This World,” will help us explore frontiers of space together—not just outer space, but also inner space, school and classroom space, community and workforce space, and the global space we share. This special theme will help us transform the setting at Upper Arlington High School (OH) with a sense of curiosity, wonder, adventure, and shared vision and mission. It will also enhance our attention to student and staff well-being, school environment and culture, career and workforce development, and civic engagement and responsibility. All these elements are key components of authentic learning and leadership.
Authentic leadership will receive stronger emphasis this year, with an important guiding question in mind: How can leaders effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and community members to inspire, support, and sustain innovation? More than a dozen different breakout sessions will explore potential answers and strategies. Though designed with leaders in mind, these sessions will be open to everyone. At its best, authentic leadership is a shared journey!

SPECIAL NOTE: If you’re seeking PD hours required for gifted certification, we can help! Sessions will be offered throughout the Institute that qualify for approval. We’ll make sure you have the necessary validation for attending these sessions.
